   I was on Ike's chest again. He was already awake, so I decided to pretend to be asleep and bury my face deeper in his chest. He rubbed my shoulder, and I smiled; I'm sure he did too. "If only I can tell you, how I…" he paused for a moment, "how I feel…" My heart raced. He sighed, and rubbed my shoulders even more, but just as gentle. I started to fall asleep again. Suddenly it was complete darkness, then there was a light flying towards me. The light hit me, and I was launched off.
   I jumped up from Ike. "Samus are you all right?" he asked with a bit of a worried tone.
   "I-I'm fine,"
   "How's your leg?"
   "Its fine now, I'm positive I can walk." I said with honesty. He nodded and helped me up; we never let go of each other's hand.
   Many of the hills were very steep, at one point we tripped while going down and rolled down, and then we laughed… We sat up and saw a light in the distance, "The entrance to Brawl…" Ike said.
   I frowned and looked at Ike, he was sad too. "Ike…"
   "Samus, I…" our faces started to get closer. I tried to take a step back. 'No…' I thought, 'This can't be happen-' it was too late, and we were already kissing. It could have been passionate, if I were kissing too. I pushed him back, "Samus, what's wrong?"
   I turned away from him, "I-I never want to see you again…"
   "Samus…please…I love you…"
   "But I don't love you!" I lied, "Just…d-don't talk to me…e-ever again!" I ran before he could say anything else. You did the right thing Samus, you did the right thing. I felt Peach's presence again. Crap, did she see that?
   I ran home and buried my face into my hands. I did it to protect him…I can't let him die too… I did love Ike, I really did…it's just, I used to have a family, and had many chances, but it ends up being destroyed. Then I heard knocks on my door, it was Peach and Zelda.
   "Why the heck did you do that?" Peach asked as soon as I opened the door.
    "Samus, I see why you're upset, and why you don't want to take the chance, but running away from him won't help you." I didn't answer either of them.
   "The only reason everyone died for you is because they loved you Samus."
   "I don't want that! I'm sick of people dying for me, sick of everyone's pity for me. Why do they save me? So others can die too?" I felt something run down my cheek. It was warm and like water. "What is this?" I asked aloud, while looking at my finger, after wiping the water.
   "They're called tears, Samus." Zelda said. Tears? I didn't bother asking.
   "Listen to your heart, what's it saying?"
   "How the heck will that-"
  "LISTEN TO IT!" Peach demanded. It made both Zelda and me jump. That was really out of character for Peach. "S-Sorry, did I yell? Just do it Samus, it will help a lot."
   I did as she said, "It hurts,"
   "Why is that?"
   "Because I left Ike to protect him,"
   "It's not protecting him if it's hurting him; you're just killing yourself too."
   I didn't answer. She was right; I was killing the both of us. I needed Ike back… I still felt these "tears" run down my cheek. Zelda gave me a tissue to blow my nose in.
   "I'm blessed to have friends like you…" I sniffed.
   They both hugged me as more water ran down my face. They were the only family I had. It's no wonder I was hesitant to be their friends too.
   "Peach," I started, "Ike doesn't love me anymore, does he?"
   "Of course he still loves you!" Peach said, "Want to see for yourself?" she said as she grasped her hands together and opened it, to reveal an image of Ike staring at the stars. He looked really depressed, and then he looked at a beautiful blue flower.
   "He picked that flower for you in the forest. He was just too shy to give it to you." Zelda said. My heart sank. Even more "tears" ran down my face.
   "I'm such an idiot, the most important guy in the world…I-I just…"
   "Well, we're going to help you get him back!" Zelda said.
   "Yeah! We'll help you Samus!" Peach said as her eyes started to get damp.
   "Well, I'm not going to be on my knees, begging for forgiveness." I said crossing my arms.
   They thought for a moment, and then Zelda got an idea, "The Emissary Celebration! It's tomorrow isn't it?"
   "That's a great idea Zeldy! It is tomorrow!"
  I looked at them with a confused expression. "The Emissary Celebration is in honor of everyone who was part of the Subspace Emissary and defeated Tabuu." Zelda explained.
   "Then how come I never heard of it?"
   "Oh you heard of it," Peach said, "You just skipped out on all of them." They both giggled. I rolled my eyes, but I'm pretty sure it's true.
   It was getting late; I let Peach and Zelda sleep at my house. I wasn't able to sleep, though. What if Ike doesn't even come to the celebration? Am I doing the right thing? I missed my favorite lullaby…his heart beating. I realized the piece of Ike's cape was still around my leg. I untied it and stared at it, it was stained in my blood. I held it and cried myself to sleep.
