As these strings play deep in my soul, I've found out how hard it is to take control. To know that everything around you is falling apart slowly. To see the emotions of yesterday drift away. Not understanding why it had to happen this way. Steel bones shatter against my skull. A remembrance of what is no more. Raining down. Pouring on my heart. Lost in a cloud of doubt slowly tearing apart.

Feel this within me. See it rain. Dark clouds surrounds this place. Forever tempering with time and space. Growing colder by the day. More lost in the wake of its flood. Trees can only hold the drops for so long. Gently washing it all down. Cascading from the sunset looming over me. My days of life slowly coming to an end.

Aching sorrow, please let me borrow the strain you've placed upon me, for its the on entity keeping me alive. Let the rain continue to pour on me. I love the way it feels as I stand this ground alone. Going into the valley of darkness I can feel the rain continue to fall from my face. Creating the nonexistent tears I cannot partake of.
