Yep, it's a much more practical outfit, and more set up for action and ass-kicking.
The old team, T2M (Team Tomorrow) did a lot more public relations and high-profile work. The new team, GR:HIT (Global Response: High Intensity Tacticals) deals with tough opponents and crisis situations that are less likely to be in the public eye.

RiesigeFrau still stays in the public eye through other public appearances, charity work, news interviews, and so on, but more solo than as part of a team.
Out of GR:HIT, Olga is pretty much the only photogenic one. All the other members of the team have issues from their mutations and side effects of their powers, so they are very well suited to interacting with the public.
(Wolfpack has feral instincts, Plutonium Blonde is radioactive, Spacecase has a cosmic consciousness which leaves him acting autistic in normal situations, and so on).
But although they aren't camera-friendly, the members of GR:HIT are pretty high powered supers, and very, very combat effective.
And with RiesigeFrau as team leader, well, a force to be reckoned with, to be sure.
They get called in when the situation is difficult, or other superteams are in trouble.
