Description I'm sorry for spamming you with editions of this picture, but it has been quite interesting trying to figure out how to get the left eye more exposed without getting the whole picture grainy. I finally got it, without altering the quality too much! I also changed the title because it has practically no red left from the sun and is therefore not Fire In the Sky anymore.

Omg this dog is lovely. She reminds me of a wooly version of my Ava.

Thank you very much! She's a Finnish Lapphund. Yours looks like a Lapponian Herder, which is the cousin breed of the FLH.

You're welcome very much

Ava, from what I was told is a German Shepherd/Husky cross. but who really knows, people lie all the time, right? Lol.

In my opinion she doesn't have much German Shepherd in her (judging by the pictures), and that is one of the breeds that usually push through strongly. I highly doubt it has any Lapponian Herder, since it is a breed that has not spread away from Finland (there are some in Sweden, I think, perhaps in Norway, too). She does have that Huskyish look, though, so I don't doubt that at all. The colouring is an interesting thing, though, since neither Husky nor GS has that kind of colouring. It might be that they didn't know what else there is in Ava besides GS and Husky. I'd say there is something else. But she is a beautiful dog.

I've seen other gsd/husky crosses that look like her but are larger in size, which is where my doubt comes into play. Ava's black, white and tan but in an odd sense that the tan is light but noticeable. I honestly don't care what she is. She is a lovely dog and a trip to own for sure.

thank you <3

That is interesting. It might be that the Husky comes foreward more, and especially if she has something else in her, the GS might have become recessive. She does look like a nice dog and I'm sure she will bring you much joy.
