Or you could just see it as it's not worth putting in any effort because public reaction won't be any stronger when you do.

It would take a while, but I might be able to compile a list of every story I've stopped working on (with the intention of finishing it) after only a chapter or so. Sometimes less.

I could pull up a thousand drawings (hundreds literally) that I started and stopped half way or less.
