I only looked at the original just now. In my head it was always one of the best Quanys I had drawn, but now that I compare... 10 years sure makes a difference huh. It's a nice thing to notice, since I haven't been drawing birds in a long time and I'm probably rusty. I didn't even look at reference, hence the minor mistakes in Quany's design here.
Ballpoint pens my babies. The strong color really fit this one and it looks even more vibrant in person.
