Description
Sabios began with a head on charge that Relic quickly countered punching him to the ground. Relic then warped below him and kicked him straight through a nearby hill and followed with a spin dash. "Is that really all?" Sabios then punched Relic back to the altar and charged a purple ball in his hand "Get ready for my Purple Void!" Just as the blast was about to reach Relic, Relic dodged and fired a short barrage of energy blasts at him which were deflected soon after. "Now let's see how well you do against me and my minions." An army of Shadow androids appeared and headed straight for Relic.

"Just great, as if you weren't bad enough you just had to invite your friends." Relic grabbed one android and swung it at three more. He then blasted two more as one punched him in the back and kicked him up above. Relic stopped himself in time before two more were about to punch him to the ground. Relic then swung them below and headed straight towards Sabios.

"Do you ever learn? Darkness Beam!" A black beam shot out and curved to meet Relic, and blasted him to the sky.

"Must… get… free." Relic then created a weak explosion, blocking the blast from reaching him. "Man are you something." Relic sighed. "I didn't think someone like you could exhaust me so much."

Sabios chuckled. "Aww, are you getting tired already? I was hoping to have a little more fun with you." Sabios flew up and began unleashing a full onslaught of attacks causing Relic to slowing lose his guard. "Now can you keep up with me?" Relic was then thrown into the air and slammed back into the ground.

Relic struggled back to his feet. "I've only got one shot at this." Relic then began to charge up more power, causing his quills to extend to his shorts. "Let's see you handle on this new power." Now it was Relic who had Sabios on the run as he relentlessly chased him.

"You don't cease to surprise me with new tricks. Unfortunately that won't be enough to save you." Sabios then vanished behind Relic and spin kicked him to the ground.

Relic could no longer hold his power and turned back to his normal self. "How… one kick …it's not possible."

"Oh you better believe it is." Sabios held up his hand and charged up a purple ball of energy. "See you in the next life." The blast went straight for Relic, though before it could it could hit him a green hedgehog blocked it.

"Are you okay Relic?" the hedgehog asked.

Relic looked up to see his friend, Stryen, standing next to him. "Stryen… you gotta get me… outa here. He's… too strong for us."
"Okay then." Stryen grabbed one of the chaos emeralds and held it up. "Come one Cyber, hurry up."

Cyber quickly ran over. "Sorry, now get us out of here."

"Chaos control!" The three of them warped from the island as Sabios threw another blast at them.

"Darn it, I almost had them that time. Oh well, they'll be back for certain though." Sabios flew off towards the city.

Stryen set Relic onto a bench and pulled out one of his seeds. "I hope this is the right one." Stryen put it in his mouth. "Now just chew." Relic began to chew weakly and swallowed. Relic then opened his eyes and sat up.

"Man, Sabios is gonna be harder than I thought." Relic then looked up to see Styren and Cyber. "So how do we beat him anyway? I'm not strong enough."

The group then began pondering ideas in their minds. Cyber then looked up with an idea in her mind. "Wait, what if you absorb some of the Master Emerald's energy?" Relic and Stryen both looked up at her with confused faces. "Think about it, Sabios said he did it and got stronger, so why can't you do it too?"

Relic stood up with determination on his face. "I'm willing to give it a shot."

"Hold on a moment, there's no telling what the energy could do to you." Styren pointed out. "It could change your powers for worse or even kill you."

Relic looked down with disappointment. "But that doesn't mean it will, we have to try anyway." Relic grabbed one of the chaos emeralds. "You guys coming or what?"

Stryen and Cyber stared at each other. "Alright then, it's worth a shot." Stryen walked towards Relic.

"If anything happens, Knuckles will most likely blame me anyway, so why not." Cyber walked over to Relic.

Relic raised the chaos emerald. "Okay then, Chaos Control!" The three warped away to the altar.

Looking from atop a nearby building. "Hmm, so he's going to gain more strength from the Master Emerald, this should prove interesting." Sabios began to do an evil laugh.
