didn't know what she wanted to for her other prizes but she sure seemed excited about a custom mythical beast. I was very much excited because... I love making those. I asked her if she had any preferences. She said a hummingbird might be nice. I decided to give it a try. I originally thought this was going to be a very hard thing to come up with but to my surprise, on my first design actually including a body I was very pleasantly surprised by this. I took the main two features I knew of a hummingbird. The slim wings and the long beak. I was told the head looked a bit more like a kiwi's head but... All well... I personally find this thing adorable. I think it's like a cross between a hummingbird (or kiwi, whatever you prefer XD), rabbit, and griffon. XD Either way, I had fun. But since this design came so quickly to me, that's why it was made so fast. I first sketched this down of normal paper because I'm used to creating my mythical beasts that way. It makes me feel a bit more free, like I have more room to mess up because it is only the idea and pencil just always looks good to me. XD Then I took a picture and traced over said picture, making it more refined. I left it uncolored so Haos may color it however she wants. I hope you like it! ^^ Again, congratz on winning second place in my contest!
