After the world is saved from a global flood, Voltex mysteriously goes missing.
Gizmo and Flux set out in search for him, tracking Voltex through his DNA by radar signal. But something's wrong. There seem to be three different signals on different locations, constantly changing position. As well as constant reports of sightings on random places, which makes their search more difficult and confusing.
In his absence, strange events take place as ice starts to cover certain areas of the world. What's worse, every time they get close to a signal, strange robots appear where he was supposed to be found They look like they're designed for capture and they are definitely after him too.
What is going on here? Who do these robots belong to?
Where could our hero possibly be? Are there impostors? Where has this ice come from?
