First time actually drawing neat lineart (Kinda cheating since I used a base, but I want to get this right. I have no scanner so my pencil drawn work is inaccessible )

This is going to be an accompaniment to my fanfic which is still unnamed.

Story Synopsis at this point in time:

After being beaten by the Triad during an attempted arrest, Mako begins to question his worth as a bender, officer and companion of the Avatar. A voice in his head tells him it was because he was merely playing- as though the criminals were the opposition in a game of Pro Bending- whereas they were the ones fighting.

Soon Mako finds himself spiraling downwards to a place where only the voice in his mind seems to ease his troubles.

As you can see, that voice is Azula's. So... not good for poor Mako.

It's the Spirit of Azula, and as for why she's dressed like her old self rather than mental institute garments, I can imagine she would manifest herself looking at her best rather than at her worst. Also, I think she would have died after only a few years: so here she is in her early to mid twenties.

This fic may well yet feature Dark!Mako... *Plot bunnies, Plot bunnies*.

A quote from the story's WIP:

"Everyone. My mother. The Sifu. Toza. Bolin. The Announcers and Pro Bending critics. Even Amon! They all say I'm some prodigy. Some great, powerful bender in the making. But I can barely take down a handful of Triads! Some prodigy..."

A silken voice cooed from the back of his mind. It swept through his consciousness like soft hands easing around his shoulders, making him shiver.

"Shush... You are great. And you will become greater. But you are merely playing right now... I will teach you to fight. I will help you become the best"

"Why me?" Mako breathed, staring down at his hands.

"Because you are my heir, my sweet little Prince"
