Description Dionysos' talk about frogs is of course a little reference to Aristophanes' The Frogs, but also to the modern musical adaption of the play from 2004 with songs written by Stephen Sondheim. In the original play Dionysos is mostly just annoyed by the frogs' song, but in the modern musical the frogs are a much bigger threat.

Yay, Dionysos is back! Love that face in panel 5

He knows what's up!

So cute Persephone entrusts Hades with Miss Wadjet! I hope Hades & Miss Wadjet have a good time together, now that Persephone has to leave.

Hang on - there is a musical adaptation of "The Frogs"??? Woah, gotta check if I can find anything on Youtube

Hades has a pretty good hand with animals in general, so I'm sure they will be fine. ^^

Yes, there is! I've only listened to the songs (which can be found on Youtube), but it seems to be a pretty fun adaption. They have of course changed a few things. For example, the contest stands between George Bernard Shaw and William Shakespeare instead of Aeschylus and Euripides.

Having read on, I'm starting to think Miss Wajet has to support Hades more than he has to watch Miss Wadjet

I found them! Loved the Ariadne song, so beautiful and sad
William Shakespeare I get, I mean a few thousand years have passed and so Dionysos has a greater selection to choose from I suppose
But who the hell is George Bernard Shaw?
Don't people still know Euripides? Nobody watched "Rescue Rangers" with the sewer alligator who had Euripides and Voltaire hand puppets? I know I did

Dionysos often stands for the humor in this comic. ^^

This was a cool page. Also, Hades is embarrassed as well. Good luck to him and Kore, though!

Oh Dio, get your mind out the gutter!

And I think you confused 'Hades' and Honey' in the last panel.

Oh, Persephone is talking to her snake there. It's Miss Wadjet she calls "honey". ^^

Oh lord, Dio, you assumed she bit him!! YIKES!! XD

Oh, the frogs, maybe they're the ones who were humans Leto turned into frogs for refusing to let her bathe her newborn twins.

Persephone is putting her snake in Hades hand, I should make a lewd remark, but Dio already made one.

Oh Persephone, alone with Dio, who knows what will be said.

Dio is no stranger to kinky sex. XD

I think that thing with Leto happened in Lycia, so this is probably some other frogs.

Oh yeah, you might be right. But there could've been other people turned into frogs.

There's a forest where a witch lives, littered with frogs, as she hates intruders in her lovely woods.

Great now Dionysus is probably thinking that they had kinky sex while they were gone. Better not let Demeter hear it. But hey at least we know that he can sense something between them and ships it too.

I'm really looking forward to the wedding and seeing Ariadne, he looks so adorably excited.

Dionysos thought that "go look for a ghost" was just an excuse to go away and have sex, so he definitely thinks they've had som fun while they were gone. XD

I'm really looking forward to introduce Ariadne too.

Dionysos sensed that there was something between Hades and Persephone already when they left the temple. He thought that "looking for a ghost" only was an excuse to go away and have sex. XD
