Description
This is my part of an art trade with . She wanted me to draw her version of the Egyptian god Thoth, looking all cool and awesome.Thoth was, among other things, the scribe of the gods, and I like to draw him in that role. Because scribes are all cool and awesome.
He's supposed to lean himself against the pillar, but I didn't manage to draw it that good.

That was an interesting question, so I looked it up. According to Wikipedia, Thoth was originally a lunar deity before he also became regarded as the god of wisdom. The ibis probably was one of his attributes because the crescent moon strongly resembles the curved beak of the ibis. An another animal connected with him was the baboon, which was seen as an intelligent creature by the Egyptians.
She will draw my version of Persephone in return.
