The sketch for this has been sitting around for years. 'Bout time I did something with it!

Whoa, pretty neat. I love the plants and moons. The clothes are also made of win. I love the design on them. The Grunt seems to be a hundred times more detailed than the Elite, though.

I really like the design of the clothes Icca's got on, and I like your iteration of the Grunt armor. And the scarring on her arm is incredibly well done, very realistic. Fav'd for sure.

Hm, she looks older in this piece, but I wonder if that's just because it's an old sketch and your style changed? Or maybe I'm just crazy. (Also: first drawn appearance of Vavap? 
Very nice subdued colors. My only complaint (but it's hardly one at all) would be the very human-esque skyscrapers in the background. I always figured Covenant buildings would be more squat and rounded, as per the decor in High Charity and those silly outposts in Halo Wars, but yours definitely have a nice bladed appearance, which matches nicely with the whole Sangheili warrior thing.
Bah, just my opinion. I don't do architecture as a rule, so I'll bow to your superior experience.

I'd say she's about late teens here, so yeah, a bit older. And aye, this is Vavap's first ~official~ appearance, though I did sketch him once or twice here: [link] He's been retconned into having a smaller, square civvie tank since then, and later on he gets fractures on his armor.
It's been a while, but I actually based the shape of the 'scrapers on a Sangheili city/base/place-of-some-kind shown in the Halo Wars prequel comic. I remember they were pointy and had holes in them.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA(really dig what you've done with the piece. It looks like you really pushed that contrast I was talking about, and the cruisers are a nice touch. My only real critique is that Vavap's helmet/breathmask/space-pacifier is a tad jarring. Maybe pushing those highlights down a bit? How can you ever get tired of looking at his grunty visage
but yeah MUCH better. Still stands out, but it doesn't overpower the other aspects of the piece. Love it. Now you just need to move those two forward buildings together and draw R'tas using them as a half-pipe.

I put two different color layers over his mask (a warm tone and a deep blue) to tone it down, but TBH I was pretty sick of looking at his face by that point. I might touch it up again later. Thanks!

The plants and vines would have to be one of my favourite parts, just the way they decorate the walls looks so natural and pretty!

Icca and Eto have pretty much defined what a female Sangheili is to my eyes and not even anything 343i do will change that, lol.
