My son took this last summer while on a road trip with his sister. He used a phone... which both amazes me and frustrates me. I did some minor editing for him for the finished image. Curves, Levels, composition, etc. The amazement comes from how far digital imaging has come since it was first introduced. I started out with film and used a Nikon FG. I spent hours learning how to get proper exposures etc. That's where the frustration comes because today I'll get someone with no knowledge of photography pulling out there "phone" and go "Look at this!".I have to admit, I'm amazed.

That's amazing! It actually feels like a tilt-shift, as if this is a model with model trees and such. It's hard to imagine the actual scope of this and that it's real.

And the odd thing about the photo is: It feels like I am looking at a maquette and toy soldiers will come running over the hill any moment to re-enact something historical
