This is my entry for the new contest "Heroes, Villains and Sidekicks" by #Disney-Club disney-club.deviantart.com/ .

I got my story in my head since a few years and this contest is a wonderful posibility to share it.

The story is about Deborah Kingsley (everybody calles her "Debbie") who already has her happily ever after: a wonderful husband called Rico, a lovely daughter called Emily, a comfortable home and a great job.

But Debbie still has a dream since her childhood: She believes in fairies and elves since her father firstly read stories from a fairy-tale book to her. Debbie has problems with her dream because no one believes her and she can't prove that fairies and elves are real. And also after her dad disappeared without a trace when Debbie was a teenager, she had no one to share her dream, seeing, meeting, or even becoming a fairy for just one day.

But this is about to change when Debbie suddenly finds a tiny creature in her well and recognizes that it is an elf. She rescues and revives him because he was injured badly - his wings were almost completely destroyed and he nearly drowned.

While taking care of him, Debbie gets to know that his name is Elliot van Foret (he isn't seen on the drawing but I want to include him at the villains-artwork in the background, if I'm able to make it before the contest ends) and that he is the son of the king and queen of the wood elves. He tells her that he was chased by 3 goblins on flying on eagles who were sent by the Lord of the Goblins (who is the mayor villain of my story and the three other goblins mentioned are his henchmen) That's why he ended up in Debbie's well.
Debbie even finds a cure for Elliot's broken wings and invents artificial new ones and she also invents a gadget to communicate with him. She also could finally convince her family of the existence of elves.

One day Debbie gets suddenly attacked by the three goblins who want to kidnap Elliot. They completely destroy the house and Debbie has to flee with the elf prince and take him back to his home. After arriving in the forest where no humans usually go, Elliot leaves and disappears in the forest. After Debbie wants to leave, she suddenly falls asleep fast because without knowing or seeing wood elves who were hiding in their lookout towers bemused her.

After Debbie wakes up, she finds out that she is in an unknown chamber and as she looks in the mirror, she sees that she is in A COMPLETE DIFFERENT FORM - A FAIRY!

She figures out that she was taken to Elliot's home, the Wood-Elves-Palace and takes a look around. She meets different elves and also Amanda and Anthony van Foret who are the king and queen. Debbie also visits the town around the palace that is actually a big modern city called FUNKY TOWN. She is absolutely amazed by the city view because she expected a little medieval-looking town like in the fairy-tale book she read.

While her trip she learns to know some average elves who live there:

-Jane Firestone (right fairy on the artwork), a volcano elve (fire fairy) who is actually the author of Debbie's fairy-tale book

-Elfie Rose, who is a famous fashion designer. She gives Debbie her most famous dress creation - the rose dress (Debbie wears that dress in the artwork)

-Susan and her dog "Fluffy", who is a hobby reporter and who is amazed by humans as Debbie is amazed by elves

-Ray, who is a groovy and supernaturally strong DJ

-Stephanie, who is an ambitious, stubborn girl who want to be famous as a performer and who is the only fairy excisting with electrical powers

After getting back from her city trip, King Anthony reveals Debbie that she has to marry prince Elliot and that she will become the next queen of the wood elves.
Debbie is absolutely shocked about King Anthony's decision and wants to complain because she didn't intent to stay as fairy forever and that she already has a husband and a family. But King Anthony keeps his decision and so Debbie has to marry the prince... Elliot isn't happy about his father's decision but understands why he made it: King Anthony is very old and could die every moment and his wife isn't allowed to rule the wood elves alone and she knows no other suitable man she could marry again and rule together with. And because Anthony's daughter, Princess Valerie, who decided to become the next Queen of the Wood Elves and prepared herself for that role her whole life, got kidnapped by the goblins five years ago, King Anthony saw no other possibility that his only child left has to marry someone who is suitable as future queen, so after he heard that Debbie saved Elliot from death and from the goblins, he saw Debbie as future queen. And there's another fact that has to do with Debbie's family tree but he don't want to tell her.

The next day Debbie's husband and her daughter suddenly show up in Funky Town, causing chaos. (the fairies and elves aren't bigger than 7,1 inches, so you can imagine how Debbie's husband tries to go through the city ) He was searching for her after she disappeared and the house was completely messed up. They get transformed into elves, too and so Debbie's family is finally together again.

At night Debbie and Rico spend time together but Rico sees the wedding ring that is not from their marriage, but from the forced marriage with the elf prince. She wants to explain her what happened to her but he doesn't believe her. He thinks that Debbie fell in love with Elliot and leaves her.
Debbie flies away into the night, desperated, and lands at a great willow.

There a mysterious light leads her to the middle of the Willow where a very big wood carving stands behind a SOCKET WITH A MYSTERIOUS SHINING SWORD IN IT (Yes, that's the sword seen on the artwork and will be actually Debbie's sidekick!). Debbie examines it when suddenly she hears a female voice. Debbie finds out that this voice comes from that sword and as she wants to talk back, a mysterious power got Debbie to come closer to the sword and she grabs it unwillingly. Then the voice in the sword said that she is Debbie's ancestor, Victoria Kingsley, that she lived in the 17th century and that the good part of her spirit and her magical powers she got when she got transformed into a fairy are captured in that sword since she got killed by the Goblin Lord who lived back then and her son casted a spell to save her enormous magical powers and a part of her spirit by capturing them in his sword from being possessed and used by that Goblin Lord.

This spell is also known as the Kingsley Oath that says that every Firstborn of every generation of the Kingsley family is predestined to turn into a fairy, take the Kingsley sword with the magical powers and the part of Victoria's soul, and kill the actual Lord or Lady of the Goblins with it to free the elves from the Goblin menace, free the other part of Victoria's soul and combine it with the part in the sword to free Victoria's spirit.

Debbie now understands why her father made her believe in fairies and elves, but still can't accept her "new" fate she has to face.

After Prince Elliot arrives at the willow too and askes Debbie what happened. While sitting on a branch, she tells him everything. But SUDDENLY ELLIOT GET CAUGHT BY AN OWL RIDDEN BY ONE OF THE THREE GOBLIN HENCEMEN! Debbie follows the kidnapper to free the elf prince, but she fails.
Debbie runs to the Wood-Elve-Palace and tries to tell the king and queen what happened. She fastly gets herself ready to rescue the prince and feels now responsible for him and she finally accepts the Kingsley Oath.

After Debbie leaves the city without any clear instructions and plans how to rescue the prince, King Anthony is worried that Debbie will fail her rescue mission due to no fighting experience he sends some fairies who know Debbie - Elfie Rose, Susan, Ray and Stephanie, to follow her and to bring her to the President of the elves who live at New Waterloo (The capital city of the azure elves (water fairies)) for getting professionally prepared for rescue the prince and the princess and to get rid of the Lord of the Goblins for fulfilling the Kingsley oath.

As Debbie's new fairy friends try to catch her in New Waterloo, they almost crash together, Debbie drives uncontrolled across the city and lands unwillingly in a houseboat. It belongs to a mysterious fairy girl called Amy Burton (that's the girl on the left side in the background). They learn to know each other and Amy offers Debbie to help her to rescue the Prince and getting rid of the Lord of the Goblins.
Debbie first refuses due she doesn't want to take innocent fairies into danger but after Amy tells her about her true nature - she is the last fairy of her kind who can turn in shape of every excisting elve race and she has enormous magical powers - and after the Lord of the Goblins killed her parents she wants to revenge them. Also because Amy fell secretly in love with Prince Elliot, she wants to join Debbie.

So Debbie and Amy join together with Debbie's other friends, get prepared at the Fairy council where the President of the elves lives and before they want to start their rescue mission, they get attacked by the three goblins again. One of them reveals Debbie that they got her family and throws a family picture to her.
Deeply shocked about what happened, she thinks deeply what she has done and what happened and she decides to do everything to set things right again even if she dies.

Debbie and her friends start to head towards the place where the goblins live (they live inside a volcano). Arriving there, they get into the castle where the Lord of the Goblins lives and start to search for the Prince. She suddenly finds her father imprisoned in the dungeon and as she wants to free him, she gets locked up herself. Prince Elliot and Debbie's family also landed in that prison cell. Next to them there is the royal kitchen where a goblin woman cooks. As she secretly gives Debbie and the others something to eat, she also tells that she is the wife of the Lord of the Goblins and that he forces her to cook for him. She also tells about the true nature of the Goblins and that only their Lord and his hencemen are malicious and longing to take over and control the elves. Even their son follows the evil plans of the Lord, but their daughter is longing for the opposite - show the elves their true peacely nature and to reconcile with them.

Debbie and the others get freed of the dungeon cell with help of her friends and try to find Princess Valerie, but Debbie gets caught by goblin guards and dragged to the Lord of the Goblins. He reveals her his plan how to take over the other fairy folks and puts Debbie into a terrible dilemma:

She has to decide between her family or the rescue of her new fairy friends and all the other elves...

Sorry for the very long text, I just don't know how to tell the important things of the story in a few words, but I hope you like it anyway!
If my drawing skills are improved enough, I want to draw my story as a coic because i have my story mostly as pictures in my mind
And I don't want to tell the end of the story yet because there are many things that has still to be undiscovered or it would be too predictable but I can already reveal that the story has a happily ever after (which Disney story hasn't a happily ever after?!?)

And my fairies and elves doesn't have anything to do with the disney fairies but if Tinkerbell and her friends would visit my elves, they would be overwhelmed by their lifestyle!

If my story would be made into a Disney movie, I would like it to be animated in 3D-style like "Tangled" and "Wreck-It-Ralph", but with hand-drawn 2D-retrospective and prologue-scenes!
