I keep seeing Alaska Young as Linsey Lohan. Someone should make a movie out of the book. Who knows it might win an Oscar.

I would stab someone with a fork if someone like Lindsay Lohan was cast as Alaska... but I agree that it should be made into a movie -- the rights were sold years ago but nothing has ever happened with it so I doubt it'll ever get made.

I dunno, this is just who I pictured and John said "I don't know who Willa Holland is, but...yeah. I can see it." (cause I had an LfA fanart blog post on the nerdfighters site and he featured it and commented), so she can't be horribly wrong.
(plus, she does have curves, she's tall and slim but still curvy, she's not one of those shapeless skinny girls: [link] )
She's just who I picture though, you don't have to agree but her and Kaya Scodelario are the only people I can imagine as Alaska. *shrugs*

Mischa annoys me and I don't think she could pull off Alaska's personality -- I actually think that's why I pictured Willa, because she already seems sort of Alaska-like anyway.

I dunno... I guess everyone pictures book characters differently. I actually can't stand Emma Roberts, something about her just irritates me.
No idea why I've always pictured Willa Holland as Alaska, even while reading she's who I saw... I think it's probably because I can see her with the Alaska personality too.

Me too! Apparently it's scheduled for 2008 but its july now and I havent even seen one ad or anything for it. Plus John would obviously mention it was coming out if it was. I wonder whats keeping them. Oh well it'll be worth the wait =]
