Tears stopped falling long ago,Smiles still hide the real you,
Not the same,
Won't ever be.
It's sad to say you won't ever be free.
You close your eyes,
And escape the moment.
Anything to get away from this tournament.
People pass you,
Starring,
Glaring.
You open your book and pretend you're not caring.
The sound of voices fill your ears.
You hear what they say,
It's sheering, peering, tearing you down.
You act like you don't hear a sound.
Just until you get home.
Maybe you can last.
But you're already living in the past.
They say words don't hurt like punches do.
Its sad to say you get those too.
You run from school to your home,
But you get hurt there when your'e alone.
Your parents are all that you know,
All day long its them and you.
They make you their slave,
They're slowly leading you to the grave.
You leave them early before sun rise,
Run to school with broken eyes.
You aren't exactly all that cool,
So kids they yell,
Tell you to die
All these things have made you cry,
But tears stopped falling long ago,
and smile still hide the real you.
