I agree. I've always wanted to play that side of
the story. Maybe ORC will do well enough that Capcom
will consider making more spin offs.

The game has its flaws, no doubt. Guess its an 'acquired' taste haha

well... Game is awesome, I loved the abilities and atmosphere! What I hated is that pathetic shooting system! Really! Shooting is kind of boring i must say... Every target feels like a bullet sponge! And cmon, it was developed by a company that made one of the most pathetic and fan outraged games >> SOCOM << When SOCOM 4 was released, people pretty much said FU to them! I give it 7.5/10 because of its atmosphere and abilities, game-play was boring! It is not worth 60$ If it was like 39$ then that game would've been like 9.5/10 for me! It is just not a "grand scale", super-budget, super effort game. However, the concept of playing evil guys was so badass. They could really try harder. They don't really deserve the high score because they did not try hard themselves. And I dunno why they hired Slant Six. I didn't even hear about them before ORC! Then researched them a bit...

You know how one reviewer called it? "Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is half SOCOM, half Left 4 Dead, and half-finished (because it is kind of buggy )" And even-though I enjoyed it because of this USS squad, I am agree with them.

The bugs are such a huge problem online. When the game first came out,
I didn't mind them so much but when I play now, I get so mad that I will
literally rage quit. I've been 'teleported' into a crate in the train yard
and unable to play because I was trapped there. Not to mention the 'ghost
zombies' that kill you. Its incredibly irritating if you play a lot. I love
playing online because I like the objective games but I haven't played as
much as of late because the bugs only seem to be getting worse. Now, some
times I just drop dead while running and it will claim a zombie killed me
when I never even took damage. If they'd have taken the time to work all
that out, I think the game would do better.
The shooting system is a little ridiculous. I mean I can blow off every
limb on a zombie and it just keeps coming as if I'd never shot it. Unless
you nail a headshot (which unfortunately isn't hard) or use a shot gun, its
like you are just shooting a wall over and over. I run out of ammo a lot
in my main weapon because I just run through levels now in order to gain
experience.
I'm hoping that the upcoming DLC will help out the game some. The campaign
was so short and lacking depth that I think adding more can only help. I
love playing as USS but I hate not knowing anything at all about the spec
ops because I play them in multi. Perhaps Capcom will work something out
since they put soooo much effort into advertising this game for a year.

Well... I didn't read about anything upcoming, but if it is a dlc and not a patch, then there will be no fixes for the bugs. I mean what are the contents??? For me personally, it is a crime if they just don't patch the game for the bugs they didn't fix. Charging for their own mistakes... Is it going to have a price?

I mean DLCs usually just add some new stuff, not fixing the bugs, bugs are fixed via game patches which must be free...
