tropical babs!!

we have a gryphon-esque boy, and a water rat thing he encounters and befriends! he calls her maxie and she tolerates it. he definitely has a crush on her and she definitely pesters him to move on.
Max’s gills are naturally underdeveloped, she does have lungs and needs air to breath. she hands from low branches with her tail to sleep and ambush fish prey, altho she is agile in water she can’t hold her breath for very long
Reeth cannot fly with his lil wings, and he is fully covered in feathers
they are both smol :’)
