The movie was alright. I was expecting it to be more dark and creepy cause it's Tim Burton and all. It was a little too much Disney and not enough Edward Scissorhands.Still worth seeing, though.

I agree and how you expected it to be more Edward Scissorhands. I did too. But the only way Disney would take it was if it was "child" enough. Tim Burton's work is meant to be dark and creepy, NOT childish! Oh and LOVE this drawing! Itrs so cute!

This reminds me of a stage version of "Alice" that I was in as a drama major years ago - every time the girl who played Alice would read the "Eat Me" label out loud, the whole cast would start cracking up. No idea how we managed to get that production in order in time for curtain.

It was pretty neat - moreover, while we didn't do much in terms of fancy animal costumes, we did get to wear some of the most ridiculous color combinations known to man. One of mine was a green suit with a yellow-and-black striped vest - according to my fellow cast members it hurt their eyes to look at it.
