Description **Full view please**
Broken hearts
shattered past
which couldn`t be healed.
I would take
what I had earned
those lessons I had learned.
I was ready
for the ride on the avenue
so you could take me
to the water's edge
and drop me in.
I was drowning
but I couldn`t show you
what I had seen.
Just let everyone know
I would come home again...
(c)Karen E.L

Inspired by: Garden Soul and dreams...
I took this shot under the sea this afternoon. Then I desaturated it and toned it in PS.

That's really lovely. I love the color tone and the fact that the picture is a little taken back, it draws even more attention to the flowers.

very nice, crisp, nice contrast, interesting colours but yet again I'm going to nail you on your perspective... What can you do to make this a better photograph? Look hard, I find artists I critique a lot can improve all their photos in a similar way and I'm not the artist so I really don't know deep down how to improve it unless it's speficially technical relating to like shutter speed, DOF, etc.

a-place-of-hiding In reply to TrappedChild [2005-08-16 15:30:49 +0000 UTC]

Mmm,it's another problem which actually bugged me.
I was trying to focus on the sigmals of the pefume lily(thats the name for that lily). Then I tried to get it sharp.I am not sure if it makes sense to you tho.But I would like to try more to see how much I can improve in my future shots.Thank you again!
Well, there is a question from me.Are u major in critique? No offense here, please.Cos you know you can study photo critique in college.

When you mean am I critique major are you asking it in a good or bad way? Seriously I wawnt some feedback on my critique sytle.

By the way, I'm not a critique major I'm in 10th grade ... I'm just very artistic and insightful.

Well,it's in a good way.Cos your questions are not cliches.I meant I actually appreciate all the comments that I get every day, however I have found yours are unique in the way I like.It is not just by saying'wow, this is beautiful, awesome or such'.As I said when I read your questions I could see you were thinking when you looked photos,I think it is the good habit that each artist should have.
Wow,you are quite young. You see things differently which is in a good way.I am glad to meet you in DA!

ive been wondering how do you get the blue look ?
you just photoshop it blue, or do you use an infrared lens or anything ?
