i think it is great to collect/capture certain scenes or moments just out of a desire to do so. there are some things that i see through the lens that maybe don't really stand out as subjects, but there is something about the color, the lines, or the texture, etc. that i want to keep or remember. something that my eyes see-- now, i wish i was skilled enough to capture everything that my eyes see, to put my finger on everything about an object, a place, or situation that intrigues me. i can get totally engrossed in looking through the lens and lose track of time and everything around me. few things can do that to me...
i now always look forward to seeing your photos!

I love watching contrails moving across the sky - something about them reminds me of childhood.
It always reminds me of this shong, which was on Boards of Canada's old website; the song features the noise of overhead planes, and accompanied a piece of video that was following a plane moving across the sky:
