Description
The Power Plant is the first alien building Gordon visits in Xen. It is sitting in a separate asteroid, connected to a large one by roots. Its function seems to be to produce energy for other facilities, like the Nihilanth Tower , the Vortigaunt Village or the Alien Grunt Factory. It is implied that the power plant itself is a living organism, much like a gigantic tree, judging by the roots attaching it to another asteroid or the wooden texture of the tunnels buroughing inside it.
