For some reason everyone was allowed to freewalk on the streets of Akihabara, absolutely no cars for a while. I'm a gaijin / foreigner so I wasn't really sure on why. Haha.I thought it was a pretty good photo oppurtunity. Sadly I couldn't get a better POV because there was everyone--well walking everywhere. www

That's cool to see that they're still doing the "Pedestrian's Paradise" in Akihabara. I was there last September and they had just started it again around that time. It was really cool just to walk up and down the street without any cars there.

I love it when they randomly close streets in Tokyo! Especially when you're on a bike and you can race down it right in the middle of the road dodging people!
