Description "Barrels of sake  (nihonshu) donated to the Meiji Shrine."  Took this in my trip to Tokyo for Comiket 84.

A good composition. The sake barrel is just not to focused on, as the background is still not so blurry that you cant make anything out of it. I'd say that it is a very calm place for being in the middle of tokyo. Awesome!

i really like the bokeh in the background it looks like a warm summerevening, just after sunset. also like the boldness of the lantern (it is a lantern, isn't it?) and the way its paper looks.

Yeah it's amazingly quiet for something right in the middle of Tokyo.

Isn't that shrine nice and peaceful despite being surrounded by city
