Description Done : [7/27/14] the night before the Muslim celebration known as Eid-ul-Fitr, on my Mom's hand.

P.S. there's a story to the two shades of Henna. Halfway through application, the Henna cone got 'constipated' and refused to let Henna flow out smoothly. I ended up having to use a rolling pin to smooth out whatever was causing it to clog up.
So basically, the lighter-colored Henna is dried up and the darker-colored Henna was applied after my struggle with the Henna cone.

-Welp! All's well that ends well, right?

Note 1: This piece has been made entirely with Henna paste. Henna (Lawsonia inermis, also called mignonette tree) is a flowering plant used since antiquity to dye skin, hair, fingernails, leather and wool. It is a paste which is applied to the body and washed off a few hours later, leaving a temporary tattoo on the skin.

Note 2 : The word Chaand means 'Moon' in the Urdu language, and Raat means 'night'. This is the night before the Muslim celebration known as Eid-ul-Fitr and marks the end of the month of fasting for Muslims (Ramadan). It is called Chaand Raat because this is the night when the moon is sighted in order to determine the exact day for celebrating Eid!

I love your design
And I sympathize with you its such a pain when mehndi gets clocked in the cone
I always keep a needle on standby when I use it.
And Eid Mubarak to you whenever you celebrated it
