i had this thought of incorporating storytelling through change of seasons with GTRI bc i did it in my other story and im like Screw it im throwig it here too i thought itd be a cool idea lmao

so since GTRI has a much longer timeline than GT (i imagine the whole thing takes months but then again im not very sure how long the events of OG GT go on timeline wise) the question of seasonal changes came to me, aside from environmental storytelling i kinda want to spice up the backgrounds a little !

seasons are based off of the northern hemisphere so uhh yeah

i imagine the barrier got broken in Spring, and a month after that event, Frisk met Betty in Summer ! a really lively , bright, and tropical season to start this new chapter of Frisk's life with
and then midway the season changes to Autumn , where things are changing and the world gets a little colder, its pretty fitting that this would be the same time where Betty eventually betrays Frisk and stuff goes downhill from here,
also i just like the very obvious symbolism of Frisk being surrounded by dying stuff and the color orange and brown, yk, colors of Agate and fear, lol thats the whole gimmick
(to double up on it, i imagine its the same season the Lightvales massacre happened from centuries ago, so yowch)

and finally at the final parts of the story, Frisk lives through the winter, A season thats known to be very cold and very somber and sad, but it plays on the themes of hopefulness of the story because even in the harshest coldness of winter, Spring will inevitably return again, flowers will bloom , birds will chirp, all that stuff : D

sorry if the grammar here is bad ??? my brain is the equivalent to a dried up raisin again but yeah those are my ideas for this concept : D
