Description This scene in the movie "Bolt" makes me tear up every time I've seen it. It's such a heroic moment for Bolt - not because he's a superdog or realizes that he's just a normal dog, but because he stays with Penny while they both face peril and doesn't let her feel alone.

As for the art. I really love drawing in this style, it's so much fun! With this piece, it was very hard to look at while I was drawing because of the pure red in the background. That wasn't so great… But the end result is all right.

yeah i guess. but yet i was WAY better at backgrounds when I was younger. but that was a forest scene i was drawing so that could've helped cuz i didn't have to draw rain or a dark sky...

Me too. The gesture that he was willing to die to be next to her, rather than live without her... it's a great moment.
My brother made the stark, but funny, comment about it: "If this was a classic Russian story, that’s where the movie would have ended." Maybe he should have said "If this was a Shakespeare play...".

Anyway, I love the film and I love this artwork. Great job!

Ya know... I was just watching Bolt with my friend and said "This is the ONLY superbark Bolt has ever done." Then I found this and I'm like... wow, we're on the same page!
