Description
Finally I decided to put this one here - with special greetins for and and rest of my L5R team
Guy here name's Oshiso and he is ronin, once from Dragon Clan. Tattooed, scarred, skinny, dressed in rags and quite goofy when comes to socializing is also a great warrior, deadly in combat.

Player that runs this character described him very well, with all this dirty, ragged clothes and tattoos and scars (with Shadowlands taint
So it was quite easy to draw him.

Good descriptions go a long way - I'm always trying to egg my players on to describe their characters better.

And this one here got his Taint while being lady Isawa Noriko's yojimbo and protecting her form bakemono, so... maybe he's not very proud of being tainted, but at least she was able to continue her mission

I kinda thought his pencil self to be a nice person ... the colour version shows that I'm probably wrong

He is nice, indeed. Yet pencil sketch was made about three years ago - and since then he went through alot. And coloured version shows him in his 'badass' mode.

He looks remotely yakuza cause of his tattoos ... but also Chinese.

*nods* In Legend of the Five Rings most of action is set in Rokugan - empire which is mix between feudal Japan and medieval China. And Dragon clan (especially Togashi family) resembles chinese monks with all this tattoo-and-living-in-monasteries-high-in-mountains thing.
Yet he is much more in yojimbo business than yakuza one

And shows nicely that you could blend this Japanese/Chinese thing perfectly.
