I could have given it more depth of field but it wa taken with the expectation of text being put all over it as it's going to be inside a CD booklet but thank you for the opinons all.

looks nice but the foreground is a bit to blury. i think you could let the whole foreground sharp and the backround blurry as it is.

I like the picture, though I think the depth of field you used is maybe too short; I mean, I wish there was more of the image focused, instead of just that small part. Great job anyway.

Good shot, the strings seem to vibrate of an invisible touch. The softness of the rest fits the picture well.
The colours could have been a bit more intense though.

Speaking of string instruments, I read a great article in Time magazine yesterday, "Ten questions for Yo-Yo Ma." He said his favourite encounter with a fan was on an airplane. He had his cello sitting next to him, so the guy sitting on the other side of him asked "Do you play professionally?" He responded, "Yes I do. My name is Yo-yo Ma." The man replied "Not possible. I know who Yo-yo Ma is, and Yo-yo Ma is a woman." Kind of funny I thought...not that it has any sort of relevance to your photo or anything, which by the way I really like, but It just reminded me of that article.
