That's such an amazing gradient you painted on the tails. Do you use an airbrush? I don't think I could ever actually paint something so smooth! I also really like the dynamic pose. It looks like Ninetails is just going to leap off the stand!

Okay, that makes sense. It is so beautiful and smooth I thought there was no way it could be done with a brush, but I have been surprised before! Maybe I should look into getting one, hmmmm... Do you use yours often? And thank you! I will certainly keep an eye out for when you have things on sale!

I use an airbrush for base color white and all light base colors and any gradients. I used to use an Iwata custom micron that was given to me as a hand-me-down. It's an expensive airbrush but it's got a lot of parts so I always had problems with it no matter how clean I kept it. So I got an Iwata Neo. They're about $60 and much simpler but can still get fine details, just not as fine as the custom micron, but I don't need pencil thin lines anyway.
I'm ready to offer this ninetales for sale now if you're interested. I was thinking $40 plus shipping.

Thank you for the detailed reply! It's great to hear what others use, and you have such great results with it that I will definitely consider it! (although maybe for a Christmas gift...) I think $40 is very reasonable for your Ninetails, but I have truly fallen in love with the way you do Eevees that I would actually prefer to save up for one of those ^.^
