Small mix of Tim Burton's, Disney's, Alice:Madness returns and mine Cheshire cat
It's made with aquarell pencilcolours on hardpaper, took about 6 or 7 hours to create. The proper order of things is often a mystery to me. You, too?

"like its trying to come from the page but stuck" - that really made me happy. I always imagine the cat flowing from the page to the world outside, so I could have this weird friend. ^^
Okay, thank you so much for those really helpful tips, I think I'll be better next time ^^ and the problems with darkening and higlights, in real life the picture is little bit different, better and balanced - that problem with not having scanner that is big enough.

Over-all, this is probably one of the coolest Chesire Cat drawings I've ever seen. Its crazy. I can't really tell if his teeth are falling into the cup, or out of it. I don't really understand the random group of teeth to the left, but that's art I suppose. I think the spiral to the tail adds a unique "twist" to the picture, even if the tail is placed a little awkwardly. His eyes are really neat, his pupils almost look like weed leaves if you look close enough. However, if you are just glancing they look like stars, and either way it's really interesting. Also the spade on the tea kettle, and the earring are a nice touch. Lastly, I love how your signature just kind of blends in, and you framed the drawing with pencils.

Oh, one of the coolest? Thank you so much! "That's art I suppose" - well, I don't know if its art but I did it because of the composition, so the final picture will be more balanced. It's completely random, though.

sure, i think too that books are better than films, and the same goes for comic-books and comic-books movie adaptation. i like the touch and the smell of paper of a book or a comics, i could never read a book on a computer...call me old school !
