I think 2014 looks best. Even though 2016 looks more polished (such as the hat and the hand), somehow the initial stance on 2014 looks better. Β He's slouchy but it feels more natural. Β 2016 stance looks stiff and forced. Β The dog tags hang better in 2014.Β

i feel like people like the 2014 one mostly for the more muscular scout headcanon, in the 2016 i tried to make him more of how his body actually is and him as an athlete, his shoulders would be more pushed back in a confident manner + better posture. tnb i feel like the slouch in 2014 is more common in muscular people but it has a bigger stiffness to me.. esp the legs and arms plus the muscle anatomy is a bit wrong, too. but! u aren't alone people really like the 2014 style, but i do think its the style rather than the skill they like. also ur irte lmao i never really pay attention to the dog tags honestly

I think the 2016 one is more realistic if I take in the factors how Scouts body should look like since he is sort of an athlete.
And 2014 is more like "him" as personality i guess? He isn't really type standing strait as 2016 ver. and I feel like even the face fits him more.I must admit though he isn't that buffy.
I really like the last look in the matter of body build and the pose. The improvement is incredible!

i agree for the most part, you arent a bother! its just what i take from scout that he isnt a serious dood and hed have a sly smirk if he were serious showing some confidence even in his stance. i guess the personality is mostly my personal opinion or view. but thanks for noticing and the feedback!
