nailed the lips; they're honestly one of the hardest things in realism for me to do, simply because of the required texture and knowledge of light/shadow workings on it.

yeah this is exactly what i mean , cause when i blow the dust away the dark area became really gray , this is way i really hate charcoal, could you please tell me which brand are you using?thank you in advance :-P

im using some kind of weird charcoal.... it came in an artists' pack which has soft, medium and hard varieties. i suggest experimenting with all three.

Gorgeous. Extremely minimal yet instantly recognisable, and the shading is so good that it seems like watercolor instead of pencil. Keep it up!

well, of course you can use white pencil. but mine doesnt shade ths brightly over graphite. if you use a white gel pen you will get bright highlights, but it will be blocky and therefore must be carefully used.

i love it very much! where did you use the charchoal? and how? because every time i try to use it , it creates a tiny dust and the black isn't very black at all but goes to a grey
