"Fear the dark, the winds of death have come!"

Eldest son of the obsidian samurai. Kasa-Obake wields much of his fathers strength and skill. However he has turned his back on Yasuke and the demon emperor who rules the dark dynasty. Fleeing his home to live among the humans as a ronin, the young yokai lord has become a wandering hero and often ally of Zonerider among other Japanese superhero teams. Tho not officially a member of any of them he can often be counted on to appear during tough fights.

The Umbrella Samurai is mighty despite his odd appearance, with an ultra lightweight body that can move at great speed and jump great distances and height. His umbrella cap controls the winds and can create whirlwinds from its rapid spinning, and his blade-work has been honed from years of study under noble tutelage. Underestimate him at ones own risk.

He is often seen looking after his youngest sister Akane, another escapee from the dynasty. Or in the company of his closest friend, the Silver Shinobi.
