It has been two months since i added any recipe to my gallery, so i guess it's time for some new ones. I am in my last year of university, so i might not have as much time as i wish for trying new things, but i do my best

So here it is a "VIVA ITALIA PASTA"
(this is a recipe somehow inspired by the Pesto Calabrese with some differences to the traditional pesto---> having no parmezan at home and having to choose from Gouda and Mozarella i have used the last one and no pine nuts)

For a 2 person dinner you need:
3-4 palmfull of ruffled noodles
1 red bell pepper
olive oil
2-3 pieces of garlic
some fresh basil
salt, pepper
cca. 50g Mozzarella

Boil the pasta in salty water.
Chop the bell pepper in little cubes and the garlic as well. Put some olive oil in a pan, then add the red bell pepper, fry a bit and add the garlic meanwhile. After 1-2 minutes turn off the fire and let it cool a bit, then add the minced basil (do not fry with this or basil becomes bitter). Pour off the pasta and add to this mixture, flavour it with some crystal salt and pepper. Put on a plate and grate mozzarella over it and decorate with fresh basil.
