kinda a progress shot...i was trying to find a video player with the same custo capabilities of mplayer for windows... looks like vlc is the only thing close on linux. wtf is the deal with vlc and their ancient no per/pixel transparency skins? the drop shadow is emerald doing its thing on the player.. yous guys on windoze using vlc will have to go without =/
i'll try to have my dark remix of eGtk done in time for christmas

maybe vlc embeds a RGB window (the actual video output) in a ARGB window...
...which would result in all kinds of weirdness if u still had the window in ARGB.
U'd have to ask the guys at vlc or read the sources I guess, this is not the place.

Ur glass dock is soo awesome! I mean it's by almost 2 years of customisation trip with million of pages of results and I NEVER found a proper dock. They are all in the "normal" range of beauty. I love ur indicators too! I used to appreciate a lot the cyan color in every customisation but to come back to the purpose of my question.. do u remember what is the skin of the dock and indicators too if it's not extra work?

It's very nice even like this. Also the detached taskbar looks nice, it's style is awesome with those arrows, but is there any particular reason not to attach it to the upper edge of the screen? In fact with this high resolution you might not lack screen real estate but how does a maximized window look?

horrible xD fortunately i don't max anything for more than a couple seconds. is definitely not practical for laptop resolutions
