The writing is brilliant. I read it at my own local library just as I was getting into comics.
They're only about $10 a piece and sometimes Amazon has sales and offers a volume or two for less.

Google searches the internet for sites selling stuff. There are lots of little companies here and there not to mention comparative shopping sites and text book resale sites. You still have to weed through the ones that look safer than others but really just checking with the parentals before you purchase should make it A-okay.
