So how are you doing? And your job. And your dog? 17 is a pretty age for a dog. She must be very a happy dog since she loved by her boss so much. It really touches me that you drawn a picture of her. Pet's are great, amezing, the best creatures in the world!!! *sight*

heya ,

i'm going to be sending a jpg to of my recent painting to you both today. i hate to complain, but it took so long i was really starting to not enjoy it. of course, it's so cold here that i can't go outside anyway so i may as well be paining lol :-D. now i just have to finish my book in two days. i'm still making a living at art, but it's reeeeally slowed down here so when i'm done with this book i'll probably do some traveling to get new work. lol, and i have another mouth to feed. my girlfriend wanted another dog since one passed away six months ago so i have three again. i'll eventually find a way to put her in a painting so you'll probably see her soon on da.

Hello Aaron,

Cor showed your painting. With the hiding apes. It's really cool. It looks like you do every painting so easily, it doesn't look forced at all (but watercolour is soooo difficult). We did a game who finded the quickest and the most apes.

whoa... really? You are making your own book? Do you also write it? Or is it a collection of your work? One day I hope Cor's book (did you know he is also busy for like 5 years with a book?) will be in the shops too. But I don't know, It's hard to find a publisher. But you already are a real profession and have a good name as illustrator.

hmm... in case of... chihuahua's don't eat a lot Hehe, I'm loooking forward to see her.

lol yes, it's correct Dutch, but never heard of it before in this context/sentance (you sure bring a smile on my face).

wow, cor's working on a book, awesome. they are a lot of work as i'm sure cor has discovered by now. at the moment i just do the paintings but i have been working on some that i would write and illustrate. it's even harder to do both, but it would be fun to make art for my own story. i'm just happy (and lucky) to have work now.

i hope you both found the ten apes . i'm so glad to be done with that painting lol. i don't know if the magazine liked it or not, but i'm very happy you and cor do :-D.

i added you to my watch list as well. i love the work you and cor do. you both really put a lot of work into it and it looks like you both have fun being creative together. lol, my girlfriend hates to work with me (because it takes a long time) so I mainly work with my pups.

Hey Aaron, sorry for the late reaction. I was hoping we would have internet in the meantime, but I heard it still would take 2 months :'( I feel like an amish farmer, living on a goatfarm in the middle of nowhere without phone, tv or internet. On the otherhand, I hardly use those things because it's so much more satisfiying to produce/work than to consume (tv etc).

After 5 years on working on the book, Cor still thinks it would take 5 more years I admire him for having so much patience.

If you need more work, you should life here. I think the quality in Holland is low, and if you and your work would be here you would be famous. I can't imagen that the magazine didn't like it. They must have so much fun like me to find the apes But on the otherhand, I like those things

hehe, you mean your girlfriend is slow or you ?And how are the dogs?
