PUSH is the comic book I'm doing some work for under Wildstorm. Issue one is out TODAY, November 12 2008. Look for it at your local comic shop!I've included a shot of the cover, done by JOCK.
I am a contributing artist doing "flashback" pages, and am not the main artist for the book. The project will go for 6 issues leading up to the Push movie, which comes out this February.

Don't know how the movie will turn out, but I CAN tell you that the comic series is gonna be awesome.

Yeah, I really like the movie too, it soared way above my expectations.
I don't know if the book is in Australia, but it's very likely...I think DC/Wildstorm might circulate there....maybe....

Is being an Artist (As a Job) Good?
Because i read somewhere, that if i Become a Manga Artist...I have a Serious Chance of Losing all my Ideas to the people i sell them to...Also They change everything too....So i don't know if i want to anymore......And Thoughts on the Subject?

Is it good? Depends on how you look at it. You just have to keep your characters and stories legally safe with copyrights and all. Make sure you read the fine print before signing contracts so you don't sign your creations away. One way to avoid all that is to self publish a book or web comic. It all depends on how much you really love your creation and the craft itself. At any rate, if you sell, then prepare to lose creative ownership. Period.
Doing comics for a living is not a walk in the park, I will say that. It's a lot of hard work on a daily basis. Be prepared to live in your office, work at least 12 hour days, and have little to no social life, unless you find a way to work fast AND good. Also, don't get into it for the money. A career in comics is certainly nothing to take lightly, as you can see from my response!
