Description
It was inevitable I get around to Steel Hooves and recasting him in a sort of 1790's version of FoE. The challenge of course is translating a pony who only ever trots about permanently sealed inside 2227AD power armor for 1793. I eventually had to ask some friends, which confirmed the only feasible aesthetic design choice I had left in the end: put the old ghoul inside an old suit of armor.I also probably muddled the French up too.

First off, this is a very cool idea and I'm not really in a position to complain of artwork.
I love the way you interpreted AJ's knight and made him a knight. The ear looks a bit muddy and slightly melted into the suit, but maybe that's part of the look, him being a Canterlot ghoul. The veins on the eye are a good touch and adds a touch to the realism. The breath of pink also adds to his design, reminding of the pink clouds that forever incased him.
All in all, I think you did a great job and I encourage you to continue to improve and evolve your art. This is a great piece and a great idea.
