Did we ever get her first name in the strip? Also, underrated character.

Is she like half immured to the virus? Her body type didn't changed at all when she mutated.

I have to admit, the latest bit between her and Marx has really been touching..
She has been one of my favorite characters good or bad.

Thank you, Shana! It's a bit of a cheat in a way since life doesn't always work out like that, but as a storyteller, I couldn't bring myself to deny her a shot at redemption.

You are welcome Aaron.
In reply to your post on Endtown today, I don't tweet or have a GoCommics account, so I will add my two cents on Mr. A. Marx here if you don't mind.

I love your style, your writing and the intelligence and thoughtfulness you put into Endtown, all of it. I love the little peaks, and the complete surprises. And of all the characters you have shared with us, none compare to our lovable goof Marx. As much as I adore many of the others you have created, (or have they created themselves? Mine generally do.)I think I love Marx most of all. In some ways like a Q, some ways like the Doctor and many ways like a bumbling, self effacing demi-God.. he is so very human. Indeed, how can a character conceived within a fictional universe not be a part of that universe? I say poo to the neigh sayers.. and full steam ahead Mr. Netherley.. I for one am happy to be along for the ride and thank you ever so much for letting me tag along.

I believe it was Dr. Seuss that said: Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. Keep up the wonderful work my friend.. and if you haven't already figured me out, I'm the silly gal from North Dakota who bought your little comic about the Mayor and the fish.

Best regards,
Shana

Thanks, Shana! In fact I do remember you! I didn't consider you silly at all, actually.. I'm still glad the Holly & Wally story moved you the way it did.

It's not so much Marx that I'm defending as the notion of storytelling without devices like foreshadowing, but it's gratifying to know that Marx has this kind of support. Like I said, he's vital to the story.. And of all of the characters I've ever created, he's the one who created himself the most.

ALTERNATE TITLE: A Caboose that Won't Quit. Seriously, it's great.

You know, sensei... I still don't know weather I like her or not... hmmmm... Although the romance between her and the black coated guy (forgive me, I suck at remembering names.) Is pretty cute.
