Yes i did, but i used LiteIcon for the folders, and drive icons.

ah, thanks. I did the same for finder and trash, and have left the folders/drives alone for now. Havent really used default folders since Leopard

I stopped using Growl cause i just didn't care to use it anymore. As for Notification Center it will be better than growl app once the developers start getting the API implemented in their apps growl will be no more.
