Well since today is my Birthday I wanted to submit something new.This is my first time making a planet and I am happy with the results. It took me 2 days to make this.

Wonderful texture!! This is great, especially for your first planet. You couldnt learn from a better source. Alyn is fabulous at celestial art as well. Much like Greg martin. My only suggestion here is to cut off the excess border and maybe add a frame with the title.

the glow on the planet doesnt seem on the planet, theres the glow and then the planet 2 seperate things, they need to be blended. everything else is aweosme nice texture

super detailed panet surface. Actually it doesn't look like a planet, more like a rock, but it's good. yo, the surface just reminded me of alyn. The composition of the pic is very good. :tumbsup:

Oh also i think u should scale down the texture over the whole planet, because if those farms, buildings, roads and rivers look that big in respect to the whole planet from that far away in real life they would be of gigantuon size and very unrealistic. On the other hand... that's what sci fi is all about isn't it?! My opinion neway!

Yes not a bad job! I'd like to see more atmosphere inside the edges of the main planet and the starfield needs alot of work. Texturing of the city overhead over the planet is well done. The minor planet to the bottom right of the main planet isn't a replication of the main planet is it?.. looks very similar. Nice space ship and blending between atmosphere to space. Well done and keep working at it!
