Another old drawing i found and rescanned.. should probably throw it in scraps, but i like it somehow even if it's not too good. This was drawn a couple of years ago and has actually been published in a book (an "encyclopedia of play," as an illustration for the article about RPGs.. the article was also largely based on an interview of a friend of mine and myself.. kinda makes you wonder if that's enough to classify me as a geek.. yeah, it probably is.. ). Anyways, this caricature illustration is meant to be a real RP cliché collection.. there are stereotypical fantasy characters: the elf archer with big pointy ears, the dumb human knight, the wizened old wizard who keeps losing his hat, the stout dwarf fighter and the stealthy halfling thief.. all lined up more or less neatly for a family portrait. Then i dropped in a monster (a troll who is just about to smash in the head of the witless fighter.. originally i intended to draw a dragon, but it didn't fit in the composition.. ) and some characters from different genres: the future cop, the Bond-style agent and the vampire. Regular pencil.. probably HB+2B, can't remember.
