PLEASE NOTE: I DID NOT MAKE THIS DRAWING, THIS IS JUST A COLORATION WORKSo, it was some time I wanted to try some coloring work over pencil, as I didn't do such a thing in years and only on unshaded drawings. When posted her drawing of evearist this morning I decided to try some things I had in mind from some time now, and see how it would turn out.
I liked the result, so I asked Yuhime if I could use it, and there it is.

... wow. I can't decide which I like better, the stark simplicity of the pencils or this... amazing coloring. MMm just the right amount of hair IMO.

I have just given a flat color as base and then colored the pencil part in several multiply layers, so the effect is due to the original drawing. I didn't want to add more shades to the drawing than the ones yuhime draw, I wanted to try this tecnique on a drawing like this for ages...

Fantastic job with the colors! Yuhime's sketch brought him to life but your addition makes him look like he's about to step off the page!

volevo evitare di aggiungere ombreggiature o texture che avrebbewro un po' snaturato il disegno originale. In effetti anche io ho notato questo problema giΓ in fase di colorazione. D'altra parte le rocce e il rssto sono sullo sfondo, anzi volendo avrei anche potuto dargli uno o due punti di "sfuma"...

Comprendo il punto... piu' che altro lo sfondo stacca dal corpo che e' molto piu' definito, ma come ti ho detto nessuno se ne accorgera'

Now I can see those scratches to clearly. My son (2 years old) tried to draw his corrections and I almost cried when I saw what he had done. It took me few hours to fix this but "scars" remained. I like the colours, especially the purple tunic and the sky.

I noticed that 3 minutes ago, during coloring I didn't see them
Actually I can fix it, somehow... I just need to tweak some layer...

I'm relieved that it can't be noticed unless you look really closely, but I can see them and it kills me. I didn't want to remove it in photoshop - I was afraid that I will make it worse so I'm pretending that they are not there. No scratches, Barbie... no scratches... ommmmmmmmmm...
