This is a fan comic based on the Bioware's videogame "Dragon Age: Origins" and expansions.
All characters and characters design except those not fitting the game belongs to Bioware, Ewan is designed on a customizable Player Character so he doesn't belong to anyone but as concept to me, the story is mine so it's not official, no copyright infringement is intended so don't bother me about it.

And I love how the guys are trying so hard to come up with alternatives, but Ewan just plunges ahead without any thoughts. Zevran would not approve!

And I think Ewan's thought is "now or never". He doesn't believe it's actually an archdemon, but he can't take the risk to let him live, not even for calling reinforcements. There are thousands of possible explanations in his mind and none of them is good.

I'm not very worried because I know there are still a lot of chapters to go, so since I don't think you plan to make a loooong funeral, or Eloise will jump out to be the new protagonist of the story, Ewan definitely will survive

Well, I admit I messed up some vioews because I found myself in need to make too little panels, so I couldn't make large views to actually show how they are positioned. They are "hidden" by some trees (thought the Archdemon should sense Ewan...

But here I thought all the old tevinter gods/archdemons lived underground, and that's why the darkspawn are there, they are trying to dig them out, but then POOF! there one is just randomly on the surface.
If this is another 'reader fake-out' like that yaoi page (which was rather funny, btw), it seems rather hastily done.

Will you hate me if I ask you a question about lore? XD Andrasteans burn the bodies of the dead instead of burying them, so I'm wondering if that's just a forgotten detail, or if Ewan is directing a big F U to the Chantry even in death. XD

Uhm, well... If you make the ultimate sacrifice they speak of a "tomb" in Weisshaupt near to the other wardens that ended the blight (at least Garahel). If this tomb contains a coffin or a urn was not specified, so I thought they can actually choose between both, as in the Roman Empire. Actually I didn't thought about that much, but I have to say I like the "F U Chantry" interpretation...
