Description At last my little self-indulgent piece is done!! I don't often draw anything solely for myself, and a 9-character commission just wasn't going to happen, so I pushed this into my schedule as a way to recharge myself. I lost track of hours spent, but the first file was created January 13th and it was completed March 3rd. Hot damn. A process breakdown is available on Patreon for all tiers!

Featured is the pop idol group "μ's" (pronounced Muse) from the Love Live! series, in the flower-themed outfit set found in the mobile game.

Support on Patreon for early access to new artwork and receive other rewards such as prints and sketches!

I find the sharing happiness and bonding depicted here to be very contagious, especially radiating from the character bottom-centre!

I have to say, drawing for yourself is actually very important, at least I find it to be so - after all, art becomes a chore if you spend too much time drawing for other people, so drawing for yourself sort of redeems art as a cherished pastime, and I would have to advise at this point that you allow more time to do art for yourself.
Find a slot here and there between paid commissions and such, after all, you don't ever want to drain the fun out of drawing at any point, right?

Wholeheartedly agree! I tend to feel guilty if I'm not working on paid work for others and as a result sometimes neglect my own self-care. I'm slowly trying to fix that though!

I know that feeling!! I sometimes get commissions as well, and whenever I "take a break" from working on a commission to work on a piece of art for myself, I kinda feel bad, and I wonder if my commissioner will notice and get mad or something for doing other art when they paid actual money for me to do theirs...
But hey, how can an artist truly work their magic on their paid work if they don't have that love and passion spark reignited? Otherwise, art just becomes a chore, and then there is no love for it anymore... can't have that! :3

All true! I'm lucky my regular Patrons/commissioners are all very respectful and understanding. It's made it a little easier to take steps to rest and take care of myself.
