Today's International Women's Day and the premiere date for the new DC Super Hero Girls, so I wanted to draw something to celebrate! Lauren Faust's work for bettering girls' media has always inspired me, so I'm really excited for this new series!!

There's no reason it shouldn't honestly. It's both a fun action cartoon featuring teenage heroes from the DC universe (something TTG failed to be) as well as being an action-packed comedy cartoon with fun and cool female protagonists (something the PPG reboot failed to be). Besides, the TTG movie I feel would be the way CN would want to end the series and CN also seems to have realized that the PPG reboot isn't worth anything to them.Β
