I can NOT title well.Anyways, I only crank out content even a bit worth posting late at night, it seems like. :')
I have a bit of a thing for Harumi in biker gangs/Japanese delinquent aesthetic while keeping the hair from when she was undercover, if you will.
GOD, the Japanese delinquent aesthetic. Sukeban, bosozoku, the whole nine yards. Anyone who draws Harumi in that sort of aesthetic has my instant love.
... Or any kind of 'delinquent aesthetic', considering I've mostly just drawn her in leather jackets and belts so far. :')
I will also die with the headcanon that she's an albino. You can't just give someone white hair and expect fandom not to leap allover the idea. Albino Japanese, or whatever the Ninjagian equivalent of Japan is ...
(That's the tricky thing with trying to ethnicity headcanon for Ninjago characters. It's just gotta be "well, okay, this, but ... Ninjago version of this. Whatever it is.")

Anyways, I do love the idea of Harumi keeping her old hair while being a delinquent! She looks even more like she's not to be messed with this way. Like, the flowing hair makes her look all wild and unhinged, but wearing it tightly wrapped up like this adds that note of restraint. Like, all this crazy stuff she's doing, and she hasn't even gone rogue, this is how she acts when she's controlling herself.
Buuuuuut it wasn't to be, I guess. Anyways. Love the muted colors! Pretty.

Man, SAME. The new flowy hair grew on me, especially since ... it's fun to draw ... but I really liked the old hairstyle better. Really, I liked Harumi best when she was exercising something akin to control, drawing out the pain she was about to dole out and totally unassuming-looking while she was at it. Making her look totally regular just made her all the more frightening to me, but eehhh. Yeah, it wasn't to be. :')
And now she's gone. Probably. :')

It really is! Still think the old one's cooler, but I'm used to the new one now. Easy to draw too.
I waited the next two episodes expecting her to pop out of the wreckage at some point, but nope! Who knows, she may have the dubious distinction of being the first ever Ninjago character to successfully die the first time. P:

Yeah, that also! I like drawing flowy hair where the part of her bangs and the bun before took me a little while to get the hang on, sooo, there is that.
